Blessings

Ok Ok Ok, Now I know its 4:15am, but i work my graveyard shift tomorrow so i need to be able to sleep allll day tomorrow, well all day after 11am (LuLu has a doctors appointment), so I decided to blog.

Lately I have been taking a look around and counting my blessings. I don't want to brag but, i have quite a few. Let me list some.

1) I have the worlds most AMAZING, UNDERSTANDING, PATIENT, and HANDSOME husband.
For those who know me personally you know i have my difficult times, and Landon knows how to deal. He is Amazing because he actually DOES know the exact thing to say when I'm upset to make me feel better, he knows what to DO to help me cope with whatever the situation may be, and hes just Landon. He treats me the way every girl should be treated, and for that i am eternally grateful.
Hes Understanding. Landon understands me. inside and out. plain and simple. he just KNOWS.
Hes Patient. Some things with me seem to be either black or white. I know that's not a good trait, and i am trying to get out of that habit. Landon is the opposite. Theres always a way for ANYTHING to happen. So with that said, he has EXTREME patience when it comes to me.
And last, but not least... Hes SOOO HANDSOME!!! I mean just look at him such a stud. But not just his looks make him handsome, so does his heart. Cheesy i know, but really, if you know Landon you know he has a heart made of pure gold. He will do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to please EVERY ONE. I love him and admire him for all his hard work.
I LOVE YOU SHNUCKS.

2) The Gospel.
Growing up I was an active LDS member. After my grandparents passed away i went in-active... up until about a month before me and Landon dated. From the beginning the Gospel has been the center of our relationship. We both knew we wanted a Temple Marriage, and we were going to do it right the 1st time. We took strong precautions to make that possible, and they paid off. We know that if we keep the Gospel at the center of our relationship everything is and always will be fine. We strive to do better everyday... and when we have children we'll teach them the same principles. Its so good to have a worthy priesthood holder in the house to lead our family down the right path. It is such an overpowering feeling to have in your life, and Landon and I are VERY blessed and grateful we have it in ours.

3) Our Success As a Couple.
We know we are so immature as a couple and as individuals, but we have learned so much about each other, and about life together that i am truly BLESSED i found someone who i can grow with and learn with every day.

4) LuLu Bear...
Awww... my baby girl. She has been such a challenge. But having her is making us learn patience (a trait i have never really had).

5) OUR Amazing Family.
We would be NO where without the unconditional love and support from each and every single individual in the now combined Lopez,Stagg,Jackson,Ainsworth,Seely,Dillon,Leake,Coulter Family. We are all so blessed to be brought together. The love and understanding that our 2 families share for us and each other is so amazing. It amazes me how 2 families can combine and be basically 1. We all love one another, and its so perfect.

6) Our Friends.
Out here we are still meeting people and building a friendship. But recently I have rekindled a old friendship, and for that i am so happy for. It sucks when you have a friend for so long, but die to a series of events you lose touch and don't ever speak... Lucky for us she married Landon's cousin Blake, so it was bound to happen, and I'm really so glad it did. She was a dear friend to me, and it broke my heart when we had lost touch... but now were back and its really awesome.
Work Friends. We have both made some really close and cool friends that we work with and get along. Its always nice to go into work knowing you'll see a friend, and have a good conversation with.. for that we are lucky.

7) Our Jobs.
Thank You Station Casinos. We LOVE working for them. They take VERY good care of all there employees with everything, from medical insurance to free PAID lunch. We were blessed to get our jobs as quickly as we did... and for that we thank Mrs. Stacey Stagg... AGM of Red Rock. Thanks for the hook up Las Vegas Mom!

8) Our Nice Apartment.
Our Nice Apartment that we got and pay for every month on our own. That is the most rewarding feeling. Knowing that we do not live outside our means, and we can afford nice things without help. May sound materialistic, but I'm not trying to be... just very proud at how far we've come on our own due to months of discipline and cooperation and working together as a TEAM.

9) The Eternal Happiness.

Life as it is.

Hello fellow bloggers and blog readers! How are you all doing lately?? I hope you all are doing well. So life today is AMAZING! We have had our little LuLu Bear for 1 week and she is a handful! Dont get me wrong I love the our little wolf to death but potty training can get very frustrating. I know she is still just a pup... but it does test your patience. Nontheless I love LuLu and now that she is apart of our family, I couldnt imagine our family without her in it.

Other than our little pup... work is fantastic. I keep learning more and more every day. I am also very blessed to have my job in this economy. It really is such a blessing. I love the people I work with. Landons job is going well also. He likes the hussle and bussle about being the executive runner. It keeps him on his toes and time flys. Which is always good.

Our apartment is becoming more and more like OUR home every day. I love to cook dinner on my days off, and relax on our couches with a rented movie. I enjoy spending my free time at home. I actually enjoy cleaning and doing laundry. As a housewife I enjoy having everything clean and dinner almost done by the time Landon gets home.. I feel very accomplished when that happens. :)

Landon is my life! As most of you probably know my birthday was May 14th. We had an agreement that LuLu was my birthday present and that was it, and we would go to dinner and a movie. I worked on my birthday so we celebrated the 13th. Landon texted me and asked me if I wanted my present the 13th or 14th. Me being the little kid I am, of course I chose the sooner date. So Landon got off work and came inside and told me to go in the bedroom. About 10 minutes later hecame in holding a red velvet cake topped with creme cheese frosting, and a bag from Red Rock Spa. I opened it up and Landon had set up a Spa day for me. I almost died! I was sooo excited! So I made the appointment today :).

When i got to Red Rock I had to keep my jaw from dropping I was soo AMAZED! I got a 50 minute massage, manicure and pedicure. It was just what the doctor ordered. I felt like a queen. My husband knows me well, and takes SUCH good care of me. I am the LUCKIEST girl alive.

I feel so lucky to have Landon as my husband. He makes sure that I am always taken care of. I can honestly say I will never take this man for granted. I appreciate all he does for me! I Love You Landon!

Lately...

Ok, After moving in to our new place, having ZERO furniture kind of got old pretty quick... yes it was fun for a little bit... and I mean a LITTLE bit. So last saturday my wonderful husband and I had an idea that we would go out and price out different couches. We knew 3 things we wanted out of our couch.. 1) Good Price 2)Leather and 3) Comfortable. The 1st place we decided to look was at R.C. Willey. Landon had seen that they were having a really good saleon leather couches. We walked in, and started in the leather section... and we loved the color, price, and comfort of this one...

Now, this is only the loveseat... they were out of stock on the actual couch so we are still waiting for that...
It is REALLY nice to come home and watch TV on a couch instead of the ground.. haha.
Now along with the couch also came something else that my (more than deserving) husband has been wanting, a new TV to put in the bedroom on the wall. So while at R.C. Willey we decided to check those out too... and got a very good price on it.
Landon took on the project of hanging it up on our wall last weekend.
So with our new couches, and TV we are waiting for 1 more thing for our home to be complete... our puppy.


We have officially decided to change her name from Taylor Swift to LuLu (in France thats what poms are called). She will be 6 weeks on May 5th, and that is when we get to go pick her up. We went to see her 2 saturdays ago and she was the tiniest thing with a squeak as a bark, and the sweetest puppy breath! We really cant wait.

Other than everything else that is going on, I would just like to throw in how blessed I am to have all that I have. I have my Best Friend to be my team-mate through this all, I have someone I KNOW I can depend on 100%, and someone who loves me unconditionally. Landon has been amazing through everything. Sometimes I wonder what I did in my life to deserve such an amazing husband. I cannot express to him all the respect and appreciation I have for everything he does. He really is my rock. He really puts in a lot of things in perspective for me. For those of you who know me, i can sometimes be a handful of over reactions, but Landon knows what to do and what to say to keep my head from spinning. I love this man with all of my heart and soul, and I love calling him my Eternal Companion. I Love You Baby.

Well fellow bloggers and blog readers. It is now 1:20 am Vegas time, (this part time grave shift has my schedule all mixed up) I am now going to try and sleep like a normal person. I hope you all have a wonderful night/day.

WE DID IT!

The past few weeks have been a LOT of preparing for our move. We were non stop packing.. we had NO idea that we had so much stuff! After loading everything from the sheds to the garage and from the bedroom into the garage we were finally ready. April 1st Landon's dad and I went and rented a U-Haul truck, loaded all of our boxes into the truck, and then out of the truck into the apartment before Landon even got off work... it was a very fast and successful move! When Landon got home (to OUR home) We started to unpack our wedding gifts.. it was like Christmas all over again! I couldnt wait to put our dishes into OUR cabinets, and open up our new pots and pans... It was soo EXCITING!
At this piont in time we only have 1 peice of furniture.. and that is our Cal King bed... now let me tell you, it is like sleeping on clouds! We love it! The rest of our furniture will come with time. Now some of you might be thinking that it would suck not to have a couch.. but really thats the fun of it all. We get to obtain furniture as a couple, and pick it our together. I love it, and I could not ask for a more amazing adventure! And we have our BEAUTIFUL apartment that we now call HOME! :)
As for Miss Swift (the newest addition to the fam) she was born March 24th, so she is still a baby. She is a Blue Merle Toy Pomeranian, and we cant wait till she gets older so she can come home with us!
We love our new apartment, and we love coming home to eachother. We are truly so blessed to have what we have.

Within The Next Couple of Weeks

As most of you know Landon and I have been staying with his Dad. It has been such a blessing to have him let us stay with him while Landon and I got our jobs, save money, and look for a place to live, which we found. On April 1st we will be moving into our new 1 bedroom apartment at Palacio. It is on the Northwest side of Las Vegas, and they are WONDERFUL. Brand new. As in NO ONE has lived in them before, which I love! :)




We have been SUPER excited obtaining new items to put in our apartment... i.e. a bed, a vacuum, knifes, decorations, etc... We really just cant wait!

Also shortly after we move into these apartments we are looking to add a little member to the family.... YES! you read that right.. we want to add....a PUPPY! :) We have been looking around to find just the right little girl. We are waiting for a breeder (whos doggys are expecting) and we will be picking out our pup as soon as the eyes open. We will name her T.Swift (landons idea haha ) and we are really excited. Since our schedules are a little opposite at the moment we figure one of us will get lonely when at home by ourself (pictures will come :)).
