Christmas morning, we all woke up before Cash (no surprise), and waited for that sweet little guy to wake up. Once he woke up he was SO excited that Santa came. He opened up his Superman suit, looked at his mommy, and yelled "HE GOT OUR LETTER!!!!". He couldn't believe it (he asked Santa for a Superman suit with all his powers... lol it was close haha). We were so extremely spoiled by our parents, and were so grateful for all the cool things we got.
On Black Friday, my husband got to pick out a new TV for our bedroom. The one we had worked just fine, but there was this SCREAMING deal on this TV. He put up a good debate about getting it, and basically.... we got a new TV. I was planning on putting our old TV in the guest room on the wall once Jace moved out, but then on Christmas Eve, Jace asked their dad if his friend could spend Christmas with us. His friend had had a rough year, and didn't have anyone to spend the day with, and of course their dad said yes. It was kind of last minute, and we knew his friend had asked about possibly buying our old TV from us, but Landon and I decided just to give his friend our old flat screen TV, with the mounting device. We also went in and got him a $100. 00 gift card to Amazon so he could buy himself an apple TV if he wanted. It was really something so small for us to do, but it meant the world to this friend. It definitely helped us remember the true meaning of this time of year, and the value of service. It was awesome to see how excited he was.
We ended that night starting our Lord of the Rings Marathon (I have never seen them, and I got Landon the trilogy on blu-ray for Chrsitmas)
I hope you all had an amazing day!!
