I found tinted chalkboard paint at Lowes for 13.00 and they had it in the EXACT color that my accent wall in our kitchen dining room is.
We already had the roller/paint brush, and painters tape, from our many painting adventures.
I taped off the door, painted, waited an hour. Did a second coat, waited 30 minutes, and did a throws coat. I let it dry overnight and VOILA! It was done :)
Best part is, now you have extra chalkboard paint for various 'other' projects you MIGHT have to accomplish. I love chalkboard paint. Reminds me, I need to repaint our board....
ReplyDeleteExactly! I love it!
DeleteI LOVE chalkboard paint! I want so badly to use it at our house! looks darling at yours. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Darling!! I couldn't justify turning an entire wall into a chalkboard, but that small rectangle is just big enough for a "menu", or "I love you" notes. And it was super simple!
