Remington

So, I have been sick in bed the past 2 days... I think its a combo of the flu and a cold... cool. Well with all of this forced down time, I have had A LOT of time to ponder about our new house. Its crazy how fast it all happened and knowing we got this house through HARD work these past 2 years.

Our home will be in the "Remington Community" of Centennial Hills Las Vegas. Its in a quiet gated community. It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, and the best part is WE get to design it since it is a new home just being built.

We looked at some foreclosures since Las Vegas has so many right now, but the price of the houses were in our price range, but then there would be a least a good 5,000 to 6,000 dollars either in new flooring or paint (or in 98% of them both)... you wouldnt BELIEVE what some people do to their walls and carpet, DISGUSTING.... So we decided that with our price range we are able to get a brand new home designed how WE want it... so we are doing just that :)

We are still waiting on the underwriter right now, but we have already been pre-qualified for more than we need so we're not too worried about the loan. This Saturday we have an appointment to go to the KB home studio to pick out what kind of cabinets, flooring, countertops, etc we want in our new home :) I am soooo excited to go in and do this.

I have said it a MILLION time and I'll probably say it a MILLION more times, but we are truly blessed.
