Well, looks like the goal of owning a house by July is coming together quite well if I do say so myself.

Last week Landon and I were pondering the idea of renewing our lease, or looking for a new apartment, but then the thought of a home came into mind yet again (you see we were going to wait since Landon is starting school back up in the fall)... and basically in Las Vegas, the amount of a mortgage is around (if not a lot cheaper) than rent. So we went online and saw a builder (Pardee) that was building homes not to far, and we went and looked at them... they were beautiful, so we did some more research and looked at KB home, checked them out, and loved them too, the only thing that worried us was that with a FHA loan they require 2years of consistent work history, and we have a little over a year and a half. We talked with Landons dad (hes in the credit bizz) and he checked our credit, and our credit is wonderful and decided he would talk to one of his friends thats a Loan agent. She contacted Landon and got some info from him.... annndd.... WE GOT QUALIFIED! yay!!!

So today a Real Estate Agent emailed us a TON of homes, and asked us to pick 5-6 that we would like to go see this Saturday... so I picked them, and the time is set. I cannot wait!!!

Its an awesome feeling to know you can accomplish stuff together as a team! I am so excited to go look at homes with my best friend.
