8/8/09: Family Date Night!

So the past few weeks we have been trying to do "Family Date Nights". Last time it was Me, Landon, Ally, and Cashew. We went to Cabo at Red Rock, then we were SUPPOSED to go bowling... but that soon changed andd we went to the Coach Outlet store instead. Dont judge.

This week was PERFECT! We had Puppa, Stace (she was there for dinner), Ally, Cash, Taylor (Elder Jace Staggs girlfriend.. we love her), Landon and I. We went to Yardhouse for dinner... DELISH!! and then went bowling (for real this time). Bowling was so much fun. First bowl of the night was Cash, he wanted Nee Nee (teeny) to go with him, sooo I did. As we were bowling, Cash starts to chase the ball down the lane, I, obviously, run after him.... he slips and falls, 2 seconds later, I do too... HARD. Like I'm talking hair going every direction, arms flailing, and legs STRAIGHT up. ya. The WHOLE (full) bowling ally was watching. Embarrassing. It was hilarious. I would give money to see that on film.
We played 2 games. First game I came in second to last (Cash was last)... Second game I was third to last. haha. It really was just SO much fun to go out with the whole family and enjoy each others company. Sometimes life gets really busy and pulls us all in different directions, so its nice just to take a night and hang out with each other.
I am so grateful for the family I married into. I love Landons brothers and sisters as if they were my own, and same with his parents. They all have been so welcoming and sweet to me. I seriously could not have asked for a better family!
