So this Valentines I only had to work my 2nd job (for 4 hours till 7 no biggie)... Landon and I werent planning on getting each other anything since Milo was sort of a present... But I really wanted to get Landon a little something... nothing big... so I made him a cute little basket full of CANDY!! haha and a teddy bear that says "Happy Valentines Day" then on his foot it says "2011".. The basket had 3 boxes of candy, 1 filled with Kisses, 1 filled with Ghirardelli squares, and 1 filles with Reeses.. Then I got a TON of Reeses hearts and they were all over the basket, and a bottle of Martinellis Cranberry and Apple Sparkling Cyder, with two champagne flutes, so cute. And 3 Balloons and fake little rose peddles on the bed. Since I wouldnt be home when he got there I figured it would be a pleasant surprise....
The set up
The BasketWhile I was at work, I was just hanging out, nothing exciting... When one of our Valet men, Jesse, walked in with a HUGE bouquet of a dozen, long stem, red roses... He comes up to me and says "will you help me find a guest in the system" so I say "of course, whats the last name?" he starts spelling out "s-t-a-g-g" and I BLUSHED and instantly knew my sneeky husband had them delivered to me! I DIED! (Im such a girl I know , but I REALLY love roses).

Roses at homeWhen I came home, we had reservations to eat at this AMAZING steakhouse called the Charcoal Room. It is AMAZING. The vibe is so romantic, and the food is delish. I could go ON and ON.... SO we both got a Fillet Mignon with a Lobster Tail dinner and fondue for dessert... speechless.

After DinnerCame home, and snuggled to some "Bachelor". All in All it was the PERFECT Valentines Day. Its so weird to think that it has already been 2 years since Landon proposed to me! Its so unreal. I will ALWAYS remember that day. Landon is an amazing man... and I could never take him for granted. I love him LOTS!!!

ReplyDeleteSherrelle's new Job is such an" out of the box" position .she was given the task of spending $300 on flowers for her Bosses wife . so being as resourceful as she is. we assemble 12 Dozen rose vases and a long stem bouquet in the Morning .I had a flowering tree all ready Purchased at the flower store so when we picked up the flowers for her Boss they gave her the surprise there , then I had a dozen Roses sent to her work (surprise 2) and that night we cooked a seak ,lobster and asperagus dinner and Curled up on the couch and watched Romeo and Juliet ( Dicaprio version ) she gave me a BIG coffee cup with amonkey on it and a Stuffed bear to hold when I can't hold her ;)
