Dentist.

Yikes.

Ya. Im one of those people who have an INSANE fear of the dentist (unless it is my Uncle Sean who has been my dentist since I was what like 5?). Since we have moved we were forced to find a new dentist covered by our insurance (love benefits) and also in the same state. I was terrriibbllyy nervous to say the least.

Lets start this story out from when I was just a tyke. I HATED the dentist... actually hate isn't strong enough... but you get it. My dad had taken me to a few dentists, none that I even let take a look inside my mouth, so finally he had to take me to a child specialist... can you believe that? I was horrible really. So they knocked me out, did what they did, and BAM! I was cured... went to my uncle ever since. When Landon and I moved we realized we were going to have to go eventually, so with our new benefits we wanted to take FULL advantage of the free cleanings in such, onnllyy my fear came back. Last week I bravely stepped into that dentist office (husband RIGHT next to me 90% of the time) and faced my fear. My heart was racing, palms sweaty, but one thing kept me more than calm... knowing I was facing this fear with Landon by my side. He may not realize it, but having him stay by my side, and keep me calm by just, well, being there, meant so much to me, and it made me realize that with my best friend next to me for time and all eternity we can conquer any and all fears.

In the end of the day i made it through, and i had no cavities, and my fear is not COMPLETELY gone, but it has decreased significantly.

I can say that I am TRULY blessed to have Landon to lean on and have him be my rock. He is so amazing its unreal. When Landon proposed to me, his sister Brittany said one thing to me that stood out above anything she said "we always said that whoever Landon married would be the luckiest girl" and she was so right... I am the LUCKIEST girl EVER!!

Have a Wonderful Day All!!

Love Always, Mrs. Justina Shantel Stagg
