Utah Visit

My last weekend of maternity leave, we had bought tickets to see Twenty One Pilots with Landons best friend- we also knew it would be a great trip to have the rest of our family meet Oliver.

We drove up to Salt Lake Saturday Morning (it was a time crunch), as Landon's amazing Grandad had passed away from a very short lived battle with cancer. Losing him was very hard on the family as he was such a solid influence in everyones life. Luckily Oliver was able to meet him before his passing. So, on Saturday morning, we went to St. George and attended the funeral. It was super emotional, but we are so grateful to have the knowledge of eternal families, so, that was and is still comforting.

We got to Salt Lake at 7:30 at night, and Oliver did SO amazing the entire time. He did start to get fussy the last 30 minutes of the drive. but we couldn't have asked for better. Landons mom watched Oliver, while we went to the Great Saltaire to see the concert. It was so awesome to have a date night with my sweet husband.

We came home, slept, then woke up,and went to my Aunts house to have Oliver meet my entire family. He is the first grand baby, great grand baby, great nephew, great cousin, etc. The gathering around Oliver was amazing. He is such a loved little soul, and we couldn't be more blessed.

After that, we drove out to Saratoga Springs to have Oliver meet Nixon, Landon's best friend/old mission companions son. It is so cool to see the two of them with their sons.

We then made the long trek home after that, and Oliver slept 98% of the time. Oliver did so amazing the whole trip, and everyone couldn't wait to love on him.
