I met Landon when he was 24... This past weekend, he turned 30. So crazy!
On Saturday, we had to go renew his drivers license, went to lunch, and costco, then to the mall to find some new threads. After the mall we sped over to the Thomas and Mack Center to watch UNLV. Landon and I have this thing about parking and the traffic with these games, but I was impatient and the first spot I found I took. We watched the game, and thought UNLV was going to lose, so we left at the 3 minute mark... In the 3 minutes they came back from being down 12 points. Whatever. After the game we went to Hachi Sushi for dinner, and it was amazing per usual.
On Sunday morning, I woke up and made him German Pancakes, hash browns, and bacon in bed. He loved them. After breakfast, we went into the loft where I had his present set up. I had bought a little entertainment stand for our loft (we want to start decorating our loft this upcoming year with a musical theme), and a record player. *Side note* Landon's little brother Jace got Landon his favorite band - The Early November's- 10 year anniversary (The Rooms Too Cold) vinyl that they released last year. It was supposed to be for Christmas, but it literally got delivered 2 weeks before Landon's Birthday, so he got that vinyl, and I got him the new Tegan and Sara vinyl (best album), and an old school Taking Back Sunday vinyl. He was so surprised and so happy.
After all the festivities and church, we went to Landon's sisters house, and had a Super Bowl party with her boyfriend and his family. I made a yummy cake, and Ally and Billy hooked it up with chili cheese dogs, and hamburgers, and all sorts of goodies, and we watched that horrible game. We sang happy birthday to my sweet man and then after the game, (I know it was a Sunday- don't judge us) we went to celebrate Landon's birthday at TBones, an amazing steakhouse at Red Rock.
I am so beyond grateful for this man. He is such an amazing person inside and out. He is the most selfless person, and he is always putting other people before himself. He is the most amazing husband, and I love him beyond words. Happy 30th baby!!
