Project Coffee Table

Project Coffee Table has been complete, actually, it has been complete for about 2 weeks now, but I wasnt going to post pictures until I had a cute little center piece on it.. but I still havent found one I like, and I feel like I need to post it before I forget. So, after we conditioned top, bottom and sides of the table/legs, we stained! We used a gel stain, and that stuff was weird,but fun. we put gloves on, then socks over out hands so we could glaze over the table without brush strokes. After we stained the one side, we had to let it sit for 6-8 (or so google said) we let it sit for 24 hours, then flipped and repeated.

After the stain we put on a "Satin" finish. Same amount of time.. glaze over, let sit for 24 hours :)

And this is the final project! We LOVE it and are so happy to FINALLY have a coffee table!!
