UFC141

Since I am now a Zuffa employee, I get some cool perks... Like going to the (UFC 141) weigh ins (with a sweet backstage pass that got me everywhere), and meeting cool fighters, and also getting to watch the actual fights.


The weigh ins were open to the public to view, but I felt extra special with the backstage pass. I got to meet Forrest Griffin, and Roy "Big Country" Nelson (got an autograph from "Big Country") It was awesome to see what all goes into these fights.


UFC141 was a highly anticipated fight because it was the Former UFC Heavy Weight Champion, and the Strikeforce Heavy Weight Champion. Allistair Overeem, and Brock Lesner. They were massive, and the fight was amazing. This was Allistairs 1st fight in the UFC coming from strikeforce. He won in the 1st round. It was my first live fight that I have ever seen. The crowd was insane. The energy at those fights are amazing.. I can honestly say, I will not be missing another fight live (in LV) or on PPV... Fight nights at the Staggs! It is such an amazing sport, these athletes are so well trained in Mixed Martial Arts, I am truly in awe at the hard work and dedication these athletes endure. I cant wait for the next fight!!
