Pioneer Day!

Every 24th of July we are all basically expected to be in Fairview Utah to enjoy the wonderful country air, and living in Vegas was NOT going to stop that from happening.
On July 23rd as soon as Landon got off work we headed up north to spend the festive weekend with our families! We got to Landon's moms place around 9pm, we went out to dinner, came home and crashed. On the 24th, my dad threw us a BBQ so we could get the whole family together and see everyone! It was so nice to see all my cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents, and laugh and joke around like old times... I am really glad we got everyone to be there.

After the BBQ we headed to good ol Fairview. This house we stay at in Fairview has been in the family for GENERATIONS......



seriously... It is the most AMAZING place to spend the 24th. We basically just relaxed, and rode the ATV around town until it was time for fireworks. The kids (assisted by Jaron Leake) lit a bunch of fireworks out in the street until it was time to drive over to the ranch and sit on the haystacks (my favorite) to watch the fireworks from the demolition derby. After the fireworks we went back to the house, and went to sleep. The next morning we were headed home. We stopped in St. George to see Grandpa Charlie, and Grandma Maggie since they were not up in Fairview this year... :)

LuLu was amazing on the drive up and back, she literally slept 98% of the time, the other 2% was when we took her out to go potty, or when she woke up and was thirsty. We were VERY lucky to have such an amazing traveling puppy.




I love seeing all of our family members, and making good memories with all of them. It was amazing to see how big the newest baby got ( Zander Wrigley Leake) and how the rest of them keep growing.
We love you all so much, and look forward to seeing you guys VERY soon :)
